Like most City Daily Photo bloggers, I thought B Squared from Fort Lauderdale Daily Photo has been in Michigan all summer.
Well, maybe not. He may have come up to Ocala and opened a business. It sure looks that way. Right on Baseline Road, too!
If you see him, ask him how he faked all those Michigan shots.
You can check out his blog here.
I know, he's living a dual life. By day, meek mild blogger.......by night, Salvage Man!!!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to know how you got that paint effect. Is simple to be done by photoshop filters only? I like the high contrast in the paint effect on that picture... nicely done.!
ReplyDeleteDid you do something to the first photo? Quite lovely, both of them.
ReplyDeleteI met Peter Yarrow a few times decades ago - what a nice man.
the place looks so spartan maybe a little too thrifty.
ReplyDeleteSure he went to Michigan. He had to buy up all those winter coats and snow boots to sell in his thrift store in Ocala. I just bet it is him'
ReplyDeleteI think I will ask him--"hey you--what's up"?
He will be so red-faced. Good work undercover agent 'J'. MB
Very good catch! This remind me of a street in Paris (and a horse in London)...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful composition Jacob !! Loved the shot !!Unseen Rajasthan
ReplyDeleteThat's funny. I guess can be in two places at once. An impressive trait.
ReplyDeleteI like the effects of the first picture. It makes it stand out.
I love the effect of the top shot
ReplyDeleteI believe The Beach Boys said it first, "Round, round, get around. I get around." Thank You.
ReplyDeleteLol! Great find. :)
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahaha.
ReplyDelete@ Vogon Poet - really? Ol' B Squared really does get around!
ReplyDelete@ Wolynski - Yes, the first photo has been polarized.
ReplyDelete@ Kcalpesh - It's very, very easy...if you're using Photoshop, go to Image adjustments and scroll down 'til you see Polarize. Click!
ReplyDeleteFunny post and funny answer! :-)
ReplyDeleteHa ha, very funny. Funny Jacob, funny B2.
ReplyDeleteThis is great. A fun day, and thanks so much for your comment on my anchor photo. Yes, that is a tall penisula with trees on it. It's called Tongue Point, and it sticks right out into the river!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA!! That's hilarious!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors, especially in the first shot. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great find and a funny post Jacob!
ReplyDeleteI thought of him the minute I seen the first photo! I liked his reply!
ReplyDeleteHow funny!! I'm just trying to catch up real quick on my favorite blogs. We've been away the last two weeks, still are, but finally got wifi at this stop. Great shots as usual, love the one of your granddaughter. Sad about Mary too.
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question, Jerome is a very busy place. Not many full time residents but the place is so popular that it's packed all the time. Lots of shops and places to eat too.
Looks like Mr. B Squared has an affiliate in Ocala. I remember he was travelling some time ago. He must have been opening this business then. Funny post! (;
ReplyDeleteVery good sleuthing, Jacob! You have the makings of a great investigative reporter. ;-)
ReplyDelete@ Jacob - You forgot? Both had your 'name'!
ReplyDelete@ VP - Sheesh! I'm a little dense! Yes, now I remember! Maybe I'm just a little old!
ReplyDeleteI'm crackin up at B Squared's comment! hehehehe
