I hope all is well. thanks for your comments. i have been buried in work lately but trying to keep up with the blogging world. I hate it when work gets in the way of photos and photo blogs :)
caught up on your posts. loved the sunrise and the recent one of trees. I like boats too, especually for fishn. That one looks to quick for me. I'll take a putt-putt any day.
@Kcalpesh - So far as I recall, I didn't use any effect on this photo, with the exception of bumping up the contrast. I took the photo because I liked the way the pine branches looked against that gray sky.
And I suppose these are made out of "pine" wood. LOL!!
ReplyDeleteA pine forest is not what comes to mind when you think of Florida.
ReplyDeleteThey look as if they are 'pining' to have their photograph taken by you, Jacob. They are as graceful as dancers in this shot.
ReplyDeleteI like how the gray background makes the green stand out, nice.
ReplyDeleteWood have to say I like this photo.
Nice THEM day photo, Jacob! Handsome WOOD them photo! Check out my THEM day photo coming up after 6 AM on Monday morning! Happy THEM day!
ReplyDeleteYou made a great choice for today, J, they're beautiful. I love pine trees - although, I think I might be allergic to their pollen.

ReplyDeleteYour pine trees are wonderful and so... fluffy. I think even ours are made out of wood, probably pine as Chuck says!
ReplyDeleteHa, ha, for Chcuk's comment...and it is true, I don't think of Florida pines!
ReplyDeleteLovely silhouettes...
Interesting that people don't associate Pines and Florida. We certainly have a lot of varieties of them.
ReplyDeleteNice looking pines. So you do have grey skies once in a while? :) Soon you're gonna tell us it's snowing in Florida :)
ReplyDeleteYes, that would be wood!;) I wouldn't think of pines when thinking of Florida. Palms, yes, pines, no.

ReplyDeleteThey are pretty! We had pine trees in our yard when I was growing up and I remember they used to drop sap on the paint.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot, it looks like a painting...
ReplyDeleteThey look so fluffy and tender! Interesting choice!
ReplyDeleteVery wood-sy. The overcast sky does emphasize their shade of green - and their look of softness.
ReplyDeleteThree Rivers Daily Photo
Very nice. That's all I got.
ReplyDeleteIndeed they ARE made of wood and I bet the aroma is wonderful too. I love the fragrance of pine.
ReplyDeleteGreat theme photo! Green is so juicy. I feel the smell of pine and the move of the branches in the wind.
