Pining away in Ocala


These beautiful pine trees (made out of WOOD!) on the Cross Florida Greenway in Ocala stand out with a certain wispy grace against a gray winter sky.

  7. wispy green indeed. they look so soft but we all know better when it comes to pins. nice image for theme day. I hope all is well. thanks for your comments. i have been buried in work lately but trying to keep up with the blogging world. I hate it when work gets in the way of photos and photo blogs :)

  19. @Kcalpesh - So far as I recall, I didn't use any effect on this photo, with the exception of bumping up the contrast. I took the photo because I liked the way the pine branches looked against that gray sky.

  20. They are pretty! We had pine trees in our yard when I was growing up and I remember they used to drop sap on the paint.
