Umm... that's not green. However, judging from your photos, you do live in paradise - horses, golf courses, swimming pools, no shoveling of snow. What a life!
A far cry from this kind of golf, I played a miniature golf course when about ten and hit a ball over a (then I thought it was) good-sized lake for a hole in one! The only one in my life...
I can not believe, this guy is playing golf there,it's really difficult! I need to confess that I understand nothing about golf :( Cezar told me once he played golf ( time ago when he worked in the USA)and it's good for business as well.Again I could not understand it! Anyway it's a beautiful picture! WEll done! Léia

@ Brattcat - I don't think there are any alligators in the ponds around here...but there could be. Sometimes, when it's very dry, they will seek water where they find it.
But, the golfer may encounter some nasty snakes...that's why it's always best to poke around with a golf club before sticking your hand in the water if you're looking for an errant golf ball!
See, if I had read all the comments before posting, I would have known that there were no alligators, or, at least, probably not. Just giant man eating snakes. Ohh much better...
@ Three Rivers - Well, the grass in South Florida is definitely green! We live 300 miles north, however, and we had a couple of weeks of really cold weather, including several nights which below freezing; that effectively did in most of the grass around here...
However, it's been raining for a couple of days...already the grass is greening up again. Tomorrow it's supposed to be warmer and sunny. I think it won't be long before we green up nicely again.
don't know a thing about golfing, but that CAN'T be good!

@ Bibi - A hole-in-one on any golf course is quite a feat.

Pretty! I've never played golf in my life, but golf courses can be pretty--I hear they are bad for the environment,t hough.
