  1. The HITS really is a photo op -- Nice shots, although I particularly like the one of the guy putting on a horseshoe. Can I borrow that horseshoe for the next time I play poker?

  3. I'm not the horse lover in my family, that title goes to my mom! I'm kinda scared of 'em, but they're beautiful to look at & more importantly, take pictures of... lots & lots of pictures!

  10. Wonderful pictures, but I'm so impressed with the size of the horse in that first shot, it's huge.Maybe those girls are petite that's the reason for this contrast. :)
The last close up is really adorable!

  11. Very, very nice photos. I can feel the horse's warm, flat cheek in the last photo, and his velvety muzzle.

  13. Love the shots, I would be in awe watching everyone go about their business.

About your question about politics. Our local Democratic party is running 3 local candidates in the primary. One is the County Chair up for re-election. They all are running unopposed in the primary at least. Check the county website for an idea of how good our county chairperson is. kcdemocrats.org

  14. That first horse is huge. My entire knowledge of horses consists of feeding one end and avoid the other.
