The Cactus Car Wash opened for business last year. It is a modern, up-to-date facility, offering those who wait wireless Internet, food service, and a fireplace for those "cold" Florida winter days.
We've been there twice. The first time they did an excellent job. The second time, not so good. We'll probably try once more.
I suppose the thoroughness of the job is dependant on the employee. And they vacuum, too.
ReplyDeleteThe first time they did an excellent job. The second time, not so good.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a prickly situation.
They look pretty efficient from this angle. To me a good car wash is any that doesn't involve my garden hose and a bucket. :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe they forgot to polish your exterior with cactus juice the second time.
ReplyDeleteon en a pas beaucoup en France, c'est surtout des stations automatiques et tout est fait par le conducteur de la voiture
ReplyDeleteI understand businesses offering amenities to their customers, but the first thing I thought of was How long are you there? I would hope that by the time I connected to the internet and had my Pepsi in my hand it would be time to leave.
ReplyDeleteSomehow 'Cactus Car wash' makes me think they'd scratch your car!
ReplyDeleteAnd here I thought they cleaned the car with a special cactus...
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love it when a business opens, it's great for a month and then they start cutting corners?
... a fireplace in Florida? Interesting!
ReplyDeleteWell third time is the charm--or so 'they' say--whoever 'they' are. I have never seen an outside car wash like that. I know--I am limited. MB
ReplyDeleteIsn't everything in Fla. like that?
ReplyDeleteseems to be a fun place :)
ReplyDeleteWhen we see these places in the movies, usually arrives the police chasing one of the employees...
ReplyDeleteWe don't have full service places like this. You can to do your own vacuuming!
ReplyDeleteNo time to get bored there!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice and colorful capture of the car wash and its daily happenings.
ReplyDeleteGosh yes, a fireplace is so important in Florida. Wouldn't want to catch a chill. LOL.
ReplyDeleteAnd here was me thinking that a prickly cactus would be good for real gritty dirt!
ReplyDeleteI washed the car at lunchtime, now why was I wearing WHITE pants?
$11 for a car wash? Yikes. I am gonna send you a bucket, a nice couple of absorbent towels and a squeegee .. you can do-it-yourself and if you have WiFi in your house you can surf the net while your suds your car!
ReplyDeleteThey don't have the fireplaces here..
ReplyDeleteOf course in mid winter nobody would get their car back, but rather stay warm and cosy!!!!
One of the main shopping centers around here is also named "Cactus". I don't quite grab the relation between cactuses and Luxembourg, but nevermind...
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
Those 'cold' winter days! :-)
ReplyDeleteUmmmm, what do cacti have to do with washing cars? Cacti live in deserts where there's little water. Is that what they are trying to say, that they skimp on water? Just asking!
ReplyDeleteWell, the black car is really shiny! :-)
