In Ohio, where I worked for six years until this past summer, they show a massive butter cow at the Ohio State Fair. And donuts as big as basketballs. The ability of people to eat stuff that is bad for them is endless.
Now, turkey and cranberry sauce and apple pie are GOOD for me. Looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. Hope yours is good.
Regarding your comment as to this global crisis, I totally agree with you. There's a new book (I haven't read it yet, but I surely will) written by a couple of guys I admire, it's called 'The Owners of Portugal' describing how our lives depend on a couple of douzens of men (and their families which have associations among them such as... banks!). Even IF politicians were decent people, they would have a hard work fighting against them... As most of them aren't, they can easily be bought and there are many ways to do it. Every country has its owners, more or less depending on the population, and they all do rule this world. Very scary indeed!
