A yellow rose holding healing and warmth as those of us in the northern hemisphere head into the winter season.
As most of you know, we recently flew to Colorado to be with our daughter who was recovering from major surgery. She is improving and doing well. Ironically, about 36 hours ago, I contracted what is euphemistically called a "food-borne" disease, but should be more accurately termed "gastro-intestinal hell"! I'm improving, too, but it will be awhile before we're back home and back to normal. At that time, I'll do my best to catch up on your blogs and commenting.
Thank you for your various expressions of concern and care. This is a great blogging community of which to be a part.
Beautiful image. Red roses are gorgeous, but I prefer yellow.
ReplyDeleteHere's wishing you (and daughter) a speedy recovery.
Lovely flower. As you know, I have a soft spot for flora...

First of all, so relieved your daughter is getting better. Am still sending good vibrations. This rose seems soft, lovely, and fragrant.

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that your daughter is on the mend. I hope you don't stay in hell too long!
ReplyDeleteIn other news, I found a ton of old photos from when I lived in France/Switzerland last night. More fodder for my travel blog. Yay!!! I still haven't found any from London though. It's a pity b/c I went there pretty often with the Eurostar.
Yellow roses are my favorite!
ReplyDeleteGlad your daughter is on the mend. Hope you are feeling better soon.
Dear Jacob, it's not a problem if you are in late with the blogs, we'll have patience, the thing important is your health and your daughter's health, isn'it ?

Lovely photo. So glad that you and your daughter are on the mend. That GI Hell is an awful place to be. I agree 100% with your comment about serendipity--it's one of my favorites states of existence.
