"Pray" is all over town

There are, in Ocala, people with way too much time on their hands.  Some of them have been busy making these "pray" signs and despoiling the environment by sticking them in the dirt at what seems like hundreds of locations.  The signs are also dangerous!

In fact, at this intersection, a driver coming to the stop sign closed his eyes and began to pray (to Osiris, I think) and ran into a tree.  Now he doesn't need to pray any more.

Nah, I'm just kidding.  I made that last part up!  But it could happen!

Let us pray that someone takes these signs away!

  1. I think people who pray, know when and how to pray, and do not need to be reminded by signs.

in answer to your question on my post, I ask the experts to help me identify the birds and sometimes get the information online.

  4. Looks like someone is feeling bad, but they shouldn't distract the drivers in the area.

  5. Very creative lettering. I admire people who can think that stuff up! Now that elections are over, and Christmas is over, I guess the signs will be the next trend.

  6. I guess on the brighter side at least the signs are about something positive :)
Yes, the people in my photos from Tombstone actually live there and SOME work there. Some work for the tourist industry, but many don't and just dress the part for fun/attention...
