PS: I've been told that a "firkin" is a measurement of beer. There are several "firkin" outlets around town. But they always have something else with the "firkin"... like pheasant and firkin, etc. It's a fun place! Reminds me of a pub chain they had in Paris which was always the Frog and something else, like the Frog and the Princess, etc.
He's bragging... "look at me! I have two modes of transportation! When you pay $4/gallon for gas, I can drive my horse around for only the cost of oats."
Well good luck finding a hitching post outside of the general store nowadays.
We all got back safe and sound. Kylee did fine in her race and pole bending. the weather was sunny and HOT---well for us West Siders where it only RAINS! We had a nice time, but the road home seemed very long. MB
It's me again. You mentioned--Don't drop your camera---well I did but before I left so I had to leave it at the shop and use my little point and shoot so I don't think the pics are as nice as they could be if I wasn't so clumsy. It made me SO mad. Something about a sensor so if it is any easy thing I am ok and if not---OH CRAP!!!!!!! MB
Me too.
ReplyDeleteI'd prefer a horse over a truck as well!

Great shot. The way my car is acting, I'd rather be on horseback myself.
