There are two Barnes and Noble stores in West Hartford and another across the river in Glastonbury. With Borders now closed, I am not grousing about the loss of smaller independent booksellers any more. I guess we are lucky to have the big box bookstores.
B&N is one of my favourite places to visit when we are in Upstate New York. So many temptations there, though. For me, books are way worse than chocolate.
j'adore les librairies "Barnes & Noble", quand je vais a NYC, je fais toujours un tour, surtout maintenant qu'il y a un starbuck dans le magasin
ReplyDeleteNow that our only Border's is closing I wish we had a B&N nearby. At least just for their great magazine collection.
ReplyDeletewould love to spend some time there!
ReplyDeleteI have a Kindle, yet it's not the same as browsing through a B&N (or Borders).
ReplyDeleteOh Jacob why are you so cruel??? :-))That gent is doing what I'd want to do when I get out of the pool...
ReplyDeleteWe do not have a B&N here now, but with the death of Borders at the mall, we might soon.
ReplyDeletei can spend hours there...no really!

ReplyDeleteI love book stores. But I have a bad feeling they're going the way of the dinos. :(
