Retail Therapy

I'm not sure what "Retail Therapy" means. I checked with people in retail, however, and they explained it's more expensive than Wholesale Therapy. Wholesale Therapy has to do with groups. A group of people meets with a sales force, is given a spiel and then gets what they want at wholesale prices. Retail is always pricier than wholesale 'cause it's one on one: One sales clerk to one customer.

And I could be wrong! Retail Therapy might just have to do with Home Decor, Kitchen, Gifts, Jewelry, Bridal and Baby.

    Well messenger I hope you are not sending out the wrong message. I think---yes I do and can---the therapy her is browsing through all the cutsy stuff and buying too much and then you are supposed to feel good about all that. Maybe you have it right all along. Buy or Bye---oops my group is meeting. MB

    I would have thought that retail therapy is what you do when you need cheering up: spend money... Or is that just a women's thing? :-)

    Skunk Cabbage grows in swamps, wetlands and roadside ditches full of water---which means we have been having wet, rainy and should I say 'icky' weather. Although the sun was shining when I took the show. Mother Nature can be cruel at times. MB

    Retail...wholesale therapy...it's all about self indulgence and that little pick me up you feel when you buy something new. Thank goodness I have an aversion to shopping!

    The Skunk Cabbage flower smells real skunky. PU!!

    The Native Americans used the leaves to wrap foods and cook them. The leaves get huge as the months go by. Sometimes 3 feet high.

    I think I can safely stay away from that sort of therapy as I am not fond of shopping. I already have too much "stuff."

    Retail shopping is therapy for many people, mostly women. Although that's probably not true for electronics stores. That's more for the guys. Although they may not admit it.
