Red's

Red's is an old timey cafe outside of Ocala on the road to Dunnellon. It's very popular place and is usually jammed with people. It serves breakfast and lunch only, and the portions are quite large. We have eaten there once and found the food to be rather greasy but will probably try again in the future.

  1. Reds looks so inviting. It's still pouring rain here nonstop. But it looks as though the brunt will move west...maybe. Wait and see. Stay dry Lowell!

  2. It looks so rustic on the outside, I would have to give it a try.

  3. The exterior looks great; too bad you found the food greasy and the portions large. A contributor to obesity and diabetes in my book. Don't go back unless you order fruit or oatmeal!

  4. This looks like it belongs out West rather than in Florida.

  12. Great looking place, but it looks more like western U.S. If they have good coffee, I would give it a try.

  16. Sometimes I like a big, unhealthy breakfast. This sounds like the place to go on those occasions.

  17. I'd try the place again. Order something that's not likely to be greasy, though.

  18. Went by Red's at least once a day for a couple of years. I finally stopped by too, and found the food the same as you.
