Your masthead photo of the horse jumping is very dramatic. I saw some hurdlers in the Olympics who probably wish they could tuck their legs underneath them like that while jumping over a hurdle.
Having lions at the end of the driveway might seem pretentious, but these are just funny. They are the smallest lions I've seen. Are you sure they aren't just shaggy house cats?
I would be so embarrassed . . .
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen a pair like this in ages.
ReplyDeleteThese aren't too bad, but someone I know has two large lions on their doorstep; can't help but think that they're somewhat ostentatious.

ReplyDeleteil ne manque qu'un panneau devant la maison "attention lions mechants" ;))
ReplyDeleteLol @ Jack!
ReplyDeleteHope you used a good zoom lens, wouldn't want to get too close to that pair?!

ReplyDeleteI bet their just a couple of pussy cats.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't take it for granted! :-)))
ReplyDeleteAs Mr. H.L. Mencken to appropriately said: "No one ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public."
ReplyDeleteLittle lions guarding the garage? They want to bite? So small lions are not afraid of nobody. The fence would probably be better. Sincerely, Peter.
ReplyDeleteWell they sure scared me!! I am running in fear. OMG!
ReplyDeleteNice and different scenes from downtown. Do you mean to tell me Christmas stuff is out already. BAD! MB
I think, this is a nice decoration for the garden...
ReplyDeleteIt's a blast from the past!

ReplyDeleteI think you should cruise by as we get closer to the holidays and see if they are adorned with little Santa hats or garlands.
ReplyDelete:)) maybe there is a laser beam that runs between them which when tripped raises an alarm! :))
