Pond at Sholom Park

No bicycles or animals are allowed at Sholom Park. It is a place for long walks, for drinking in the beauty of nature, for relaxing, for meditation. This photo attempts to portray the essence of what, for many of us, is a beautiful retreat in the midst of urban chaos.

  4. Sounds like paradise! So may times I've raised my camera to take a photo of a bird...and a bike or dog passes by scaring the bird. This phot has a magical mystical feel, at least for me.

  13. Creative use of watercolor effect! The blue and green does give some calming touch to the image. Not that many parks here didn't allow animals, that is interesting :)

  14. Nice! This reminds me that I'm very blessed to live in the middle of an oasis, considerable distance from urban chaos. And I don't miss it a bit.
