Dining at the Longhorn

If you don't feel like cooking a turkey with all the trimming this Thanksgiving, you might want to stop in for a delicious meal at The Longhorn restaurant on 17th Street in Ocala.

  2. I tried to talk all the family into going out this year (I try this every year)... and they keep saying no ... so this year I am bringing the easiest thing I know to make....the ever 'popular' green bean casserole...maybe they will get the hint and we can all out next year. Many Thanksgiving hugs to you and Lois!!!

  3. I think I will stick with a traditional Thanksgiving rather than a meal at a place like the Longhorn, which sounds like it belongs in Texas.

  5. Delicious as it may be, I think I'd rather spend time cooking in my kitchen. Ah, the wonderful smells wafting through the house! May you have a blessed and happy Thanksgiving Day!

  10. Happy Thanksgiving, Lowell. Thanks so much for your comments on my blog. As far as resizing images go, I think I will stick with Photobucket and just show the link to my photos there. I do appreciate your help and kind comments. :) Hope your Thanksgiving will be a joyful one.

  12. One of my most memorable Thanksgiving meals was eaten at a Sonic Drive-In. Sometimes it's fun to break with tradition. Happy Thanksgiving, Lowell!

  16. The way to avoid cooking a turkey is to get invited to friend's houses for dinner. We're bringing side dishes and dessert. All our restaurants are closed today. NIce photo however.

  21. We didn't have any turkey dinner this year. :( I am a little sad about that, but it's a lot of work for only two people. Hopefully next Thanksgiving will work out better for us.
