Morning Lowell...so funny...I just happened to see your post here after I just put one up about the same thing. Pretty darn scary when you think about it don't you think? What a world we live in now. Makes you stop and think what else do they know? Hope you're having a GREAT summer but heard it's pretty darn hot down there...keepin' cool I hope.
I think the scary thing is the reason behind the camera installations. If no one was doing anything wrong and hurting others in one way or another, there would be no need for things like this.
I'm fine with security cameras. Without them, we might not have discovered the a--holes who set off the bombs at the Boston Marathon. We can't have it both ways. I am firmly in the camp of "bravo, security cameras!"
I've heard some theories lately. As the NSA has been so criticized all over the world because of the (illegal) privacy violations they came up with this terrorist attack alert for August in order to shut up everyone who's against their policy, especially Snowden supporters. I wouldn't be surprised if this was true, actually.
Now of days you can't escape them.
ReplyDeleteYou should be able to sneak up from behind! What are they spying here?
ReplyDeleteGhidrah, le monstre à trois têtes ;))
ReplyDeleteSomedays, I wish I still had my BB gun and a criminal mind.
ReplyDeleteBang!
I feel right at home looking at this shot, Lowell. Coventry is said to have more CCTV camera than most cities in UK. Good thing? Not sure :).

ReplyDeleteAll angles covered!
ReplyDeleteI've pretty much decided that I could be on camera at any time, any where. The digital age has arrived, there are no secrets here.
ReplyDeleteIuhuuuu... I'm here... :)
ReplyDeleteI don't remember where I was a year ago at the same time, can you help and show me your records, please?
and yet Little Brother usually only looks at the video after the fact.
ReplyDeleteTell me about them... They're everywhere now.
ReplyDeleteRYN: The wheelchair was because I have advanced emphysema and can barely move from one room to another.
ReplyDeleteIf you're interested in thinking about this a few steps further on, rent the BBC miniseries "The Last Enemy."
ReplyDeleteAin't that the truth!
ReplyDeleteBehave yourself and smile for the camera!
ReplyDeleteThey have you coming and going!
ReplyDeleteThey are everywhere!
ReplyDeleteHHHMMMmmm... the dark side of street lamps ... I like it!!

ReplyDeleteBig Brother knows everything we do. And he's trying to figure out what we're thinking too.
ReplyDeleteBig brother will see you?
