    The tree looks like a big bouquet. Orange section of flowers are? Or are the new herbaceous shoots?

    It changes colour in an interesting way! I'm thinking there are miniature bridesmaids hiding out on the limbs and holding out their bouquets.

    It's magnificent and looks a little like something we called silk trees in California. But I think those bloomed later, in the spring. Do you have any idea what kind of tree it is, Lowell?
