As if just having and feeding a horse isn't pricey enough there are a lot of other costs that go with membership in the horsey set. But I guess that's part of it, isn't it? It looks like this saddle has some fancy tooling on it.
Nice saddle I suppose. Like EG I think I would opt for a new camera at that price. I paid 100 bucks for my saddle and I didn't get bucked off either. MB

ReplyDeleteVery posh saddle, Lowell!
ReplyDeleteSome very fine detail work on this, so I can see the pricetag as being reasonable...
ReplyDeleteSorry, Lowell, but there is not a single thing I could do with this saddle. You will have to get it for yourself.
ReplyDeleteDoes look beautiful...
ReplyDeleteIs that all? Pocket change!
ReplyDeleteHow have you been, Lowell? I've been away from your blog for too long. It's great to see your photos again!
Does that price come with a promise of no sore bottoms?
ReplyDeleteWell it's a beautiful saddle with intricate leatherwork...
ReplyDeleteelle est tres belle, mais 1700 $....surtout que j'ai pas de cheval ;)
ReplyDelete'All you need is $1,700'... and a horse! Sounds like horse riding is pretty expensive!
ReplyDeleteThis saddle is a work of art.
ReplyDeleteNice and colourful. With prices like that it's no wonder we switched from horses to cars. :)
ReplyDeleteAgree with William, but it's not within my budget...gosh, can make from here two more trips to India...and buy a camel saddle cheap. ;)
ReplyDeleteYIKES! I think I'll buy a new camera instead, thank you. ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, beautiful. I bet my sister will love it!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds about right, when you think of all the hours of work that goes into making a saddle like that. Horses are an expensive hobby.
ReplyDeleteI will have to pass. I need to save up for the horse first!

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind parking my fanny on that fancy saddle!
ReplyDeleteVery elegant, good manufacturing.
