Ocala's Goofy Car

This pile of junk disappeared months ago.  Then, the other evening, I saw it again, parked in plain sight at the Heathbrook Market outdoor mall!   A small man wearing some kind of head cover stood next to it while talking emphatically into a phone plastered to his ear.  Who he was and what this car is about remain a mystery.

But it doth appear to proffer a weird religious message which is not at all unusual as we are overrun with religious goofballs in Florida!  Unfortunately, many of them hold important government positions!

  1. Obviously our mystery driver doesn't really care about the notion of a car that looks presentable and clean.

  2. This isn't the painted hippie cars of the 1960s. Looks more like the product of someone who has failed to take their prescribed medication. Perhaps he isn't dangerous, just odd.

  3. All in all I think I'd prefer to just avoid the person behind/inside this car.

  4. There surely are LOTS of strange, weird people in the world today -- Portland isn't lacking -- believe me!! We have some older -- but not as old as they look, guys who have grocery carts which they fill up with everything paper imaginable to sell and buy booze. Two more just walked by as I was typing. We have SO many homeless people here and it is sad.

  5. Sadly, any message he wished to send out is lost in the messy clutter presented. But, then again, he didn't ask any of us for our opinion, did he.

  6. Sometimes I think it might be nice to be off in another place like that! ;-)

  7. Oh my, what can one say about a person who says evolution is a big lie in such a colorful and distracting way. Nothing at all. Just give them a wide berth and keep on walking.

  8. At least they're sure no one would steal it.

  12. It amazes me that some people have no idea what BAD advertising this is. This is sooooo unattractive!

  13. Looking at the car the guy may be a goofball, but it seems unlikely that he holds an 'important government position'!

  15. I echo my refrain... you've heard it before. Low self-esteem at work here.

  17. Looks like he painted all those words on it to try and hold it all together!

  18. I wonder where it was hiding for the while it was gone. Probably in a garage while the demented soul was hospitalized. MB

  19. This kind of thing is more common in Oregon (I hate to say)...people use their cars as blackboards...bumper stickers are just not big enough to get their craziness across... You might see one like this one and then one talking about paganism or witchcraft... We're equal opportunity when it comes to crazy!
