Welcome sign inside the gates
Cypress trees growing through the bridge that leads into the park
Pretzels and popcorn available at the glass bottom boat marina
Lots of folks taking advantage of the crystal clear water
The canoes are right over the main spring
A crooked palm tree and a statue of the Seminole Chief, Osceola
Further down the Silver River
So on my list for next season. And not because of the pretzels ))
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures of a beautiful park, Lowell!! What a delightful place to spend a day or more!! Thanks for sharing the beauty -- I needed just a tad of that today!! Hope your weekend is going well!!
ReplyDeleteI love that the trees are on through the bridge.
ReplyDelete(and no, there didn't appear to be a garage with that ultra modern house. with the winter we just had I wonder if they regret that?!)
That sure looks like a gorgeous spot, Lowell!
ReplyDeleteA pleasant looking place to ramble about in, Lowell!
ReplyDeleteThere is a lot to see here, Lowell. It looks like a wonderful park.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like they've developed it quite a lot: if you build it they will come.
ReplyDeleteDo gators eat pretzels?
ReplyDeleteI am wary about your waters, but I like them very much in you pictures. I obviously love the bench and I will use it soon on aBoB!
ReplyDeleteYou know what I'm going to say! :-) It looks so beautiful and calm.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't this belong to the Seminoles?
They should pay you for advertising! These are superb and brought back some memories!
ReplyDeleteYou've bought back a few childhood memories with these shots.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a very pleasant and scenic spot to visit, and I like the choice of different kinds of boats. I've been on Minnesta waters in a canoe many times so I'd instead choose the glass bottom boats.

ReplyDeleteSilver Springs looks like a fine place to spend some time. Remember seeing signs to it when I rode to Florida with my parents as a child, but we were always too pressed for time to make this stop.
ReplyDeleteThe greenery is so lush and looks so refreshingly cool! I love that the trees weren't cut to make room for the bridge!
ReplyDeleteA place I would enjoy visiting.
