Swimming with gators can be dangerous to your health
These friendly critters were found at Homosassa Springs State Park in one of the ponds. I can't imagine why those signs are needed, but there are some pretty dumb people in the world.
By the way, OSEG stands for Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group, the small group of developers that stole the park with the city's blessing and will be living off the profits for the remainder of their natural lives.
Even without the sign, I won’t swim in that filthy-looking water. I wonder whether “No swimming” is for people or for gators? Are these gators real, or fake to make people feel convinced who don’t believe only sign?
No swimming??? I don't get it... ;-) Great beasts! If you only knew how close I was to one crocodile in Kenya without knowing it... I'm sure it was my fastest and highest jump ever the second he moved! LOL!
Haven't you heard of the new cruise ship excursion, "swimming with the gators?" Like swimming with dolphins but for extra competitive Type As.
ReplyDeleteGuess I would not want to float along with these big fellas.
ReplyDeleteThe sign is kind of like our train signs.
ReplyDeleteSafe to say that I would not attempt to even walk close to that area let alone swim. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely not that dumb!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely not a place to take a dip!
ReplyDeleteThe signs are for the Gators... and they are obeying.
ReplyDeleteI think I do not need that sign !
ReplyDeleteAlthough I like your photos with these cute critters :-)
I certainly wouldn't need a sign to warn me. Those are some scary looking critters!
ReplyDeleteGot a great laugh out of your No Swimming signs. You are right about some people lacking any sense.
ReplyDeleteThey are impressive beasties.
ReplyDeleteJust make sure they've had a meal in the last day or two.
Even without the signs I wouldn't go in there, Lowell!
ReplyDeleteFriendly? Yeah right!!!!

ReplyDeleteThey sure look ready to spend an evening with you!
ReplyDeleteYou know how I feel about these guys...
ReplyDeleteSome look kinda fat---maybe the dummies were swimming.

I'm convinced and I WILL obey. ;)
ReplyDeleteWell, there's a fool born every minute....
