Scenes from the Intercoastal Waterway - Ormond Beach, Florida
This last shot was taken by Lois Anne at the beach at Ormond Beach. Ormond Beach is a city located several miles north of Daytona Beach on the Atlantic coast of Florida.
Great shots for the day -- by you and Lois!! You are both SO good with the camera!! Hope you have a wonderful new week!! Enjoy -- but stay out of trouble!!!
I've spent a few enjoyable holidays at Ormond Beach, I loved my time there. I rented a small cottage opposite Publix. I wonder if it's still there? (the cottage, not Publix)
So lovely to see the birds! Manatee area? Wow, I have never seen one except in photos and videos. They seem to be peaceful, curious creatures. :) Beautiful series!
Nice shots. Do you see any Manatees? I used to love them---not that I ever saw them. I read about them when I was about 65 yrs younger and thought I would save them all. LOL I've been here---just disillusioned about I don't know what. I am ok though MB
I'm assuming that's a pelican perched there.

ReplyDeleteSome beautiful views, I remember this beach: last spring I got a very nice bench photo taken there by you!
ReplyDeleteA very nice series, Lowell (and Lois Anne). I don't think I have been in this area . . . yet.

ReplyDeleteI think I like that pelican best. (...beak can hold more than its belly can...)
ReplyDeleteNice collection of images of a nice looking place, with lots of bird life!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful spot Lowell, what a super view the residents along the water must have.
ReplyDeleteNice series, Lowell, the last photo is the crowning :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a beautiful place to relax. Great shots.

ReplyDeleteHeck, how about some soothing shots of the Bikini Zone?

Bill would have loved to boat the whole inter coastal. If only we were younger!
ReplyDeleteI remember when you showed pics from there before and I quite liked the look of the area. Love these new pics, Lowell & Lois Anne!
ReplyDeleteWonderful -
ReplyDeleteLovely area. And I especially like the photo of the gull with the frothy water at its feet.
