This was snapped quickly in Cedar Key. I was tempted to stop them and speak of bicycle safety, but then realized I ought mind my own business. No sense asking for trouble. Right?
Mouth shut, camera ready, click! There, now enjoy the photo. :) No shoes, no helmets, no thinking! They're young, what else can you say. Nice image Lowell, you've done good :)
Dangerous riding and barefooted to boot! I have been known to warn a youngster about a dangerous activity. Mostly they just say "I know" and keep on doing it.
Dangerous! This week there an accident with a cargo bike. There were four children on the the bicycle. And a mom. When the bike in the water two fishermen came to save two babies and the other childs. And they are alive.
No sense at all, you never know how those wild and crazy bike riders will react ;> We used to do things like that all the time and most of us survived -- but it is really strange and odd (and i must admit in some ways kind of fun) to see kids being kids these days.... and yet ... if those were my grandkids I wouldn't stand for that behavior for one minute!!
Some youths are dare-devil. Their parents would be shocked to see this. I haven’t seen like this but one person standing behind the another who pedals.
Ah, youth.
ReplyDeleteit is not safe but common between reens
ReplyDeleteYou don't usually see someone sitting that way on a bike.
ReplyDeleteVery wise, Lowell! Great capture!!! :)

I can see where you're coming from Lowell ☺ but you're right, it probably wouldn't have been appreciated 😀😀
ReplyDeleteGreat capture! Yup, that is crazy dangerous.
ReplyDeleteInteresting way to get from here to there. But I guess it worked!

ReplyDeleteThat really takes me back to being a kid, Lowell! Fearless!
ReplyDeleteOh, this could be Dutch children :-)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like fun. And when you are that age, doing anything the least bit dangerous is equal to fun.

ReplyDeleteAnd it could have happened all over.
