In our community, this particular tree is relatively popular. I used to know its name, but cannot remember. In the fall, it fills out with colorful blossoms but I think it is a messy tree. It's popular because it's pretty.
Looks like a Crape Myrtle... I am soooo tired of our cold, wet dark and soon to be snowy weather... hmmm I think I am long over due for a Florida journey! Or maybe I just need to go peel an orange and enjoy a bit of liquid sunshine! HoHoHo! Merry Christmas
It is so nice to see a tree with blossoms - it is grey and cold here!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteI can't say I know the name of the tree, but I appreciate seeing something so green and lush this time of year.
ReplyDeleteSWMBO would hate that green tree in the lower left, Jacob. She does not like architectural landscaping. I kinda like it.
ReplyDeleteCrepe myrtle? It certainly is pretty and seems to be doing well here. I wouldn't expect to see blooms this time of year but they're more than welcome!

ReplyDeleteGosh, in some ways I envy you and everyone else who have so many SUNNY days.
That's the way it usually goes... but as my grandmother used to say "Pretty is as pretty does" ... yeah, I never understood it either!
