Fast through the forest...

A biker rode down the path at full speed. My camera came out of a bag. I raised the camera to my eye. Whoosh! The biker disappeared in the woods. Can you imagine that?

  1. You meed to buy a fast bike from that fancy bike shop a couple of posts ago, then you could woosh through the forest too.

  2. Hello Lowell! I feel like that I’m being pulled into the woods myself. Mysteriously I see a big something like a metallic face in the right-side woods. Am I seeing an illusion?

  4. Oh yes, happens to me all the time!
I read that article about water in Phoenix that you sent. It's very timely, they just started a 3-part series on NPR on the same subject. We don't have any shortages right at this moment but, it sounds like there better be some big plans made for the future.

  5. Lowell, that is easy to imagine. Just keep your camera handy and your finger near the shutter to capture those unexpected bike riders.

  6. That happens to me all the time. Your photo is spectacular enough even without the bike though.

  8. I've missed many shots myself but there is always another one coming to replace the missed one. Just be ready!

  9. Whoosh is right---LOL
Yes I am tired of blogging and stuff. I have no new pics---well I do but I am not too happy with them. I have put some pics on Facebook but it is such a joke over there and I joined a thingie called Washington State Beauty and have put some lovely shots there but .............Spread too thin maybe. Sometimes I feel just melancholy but I do get over it. ALSO---see what you started--some images I took of the Tulips in the valley I seemingly cannot upload to my computer. Seems the computer does not recognize the USB port---Grrrrr.....
Whine whine oh no I mean WINE--haha

  10. Are you sure you weren't on the bike?
By the way, the cookbook was published in 1942, 76 years ago. Can you believe it?

  11. That was you on the bike, wasn't it? Otherwise, where is the speed coming from in this shot...unless you were running to catch up...?

  12. Oh yes, I can imagine that, Lowell !
That's one of the reasons I photograph mountains...

  15. I do not like a cyclist who is driving fast like a mad man.
We have a "war" against cyclists and walkers. Bikes drive through where pedestrians walk, and everyone blames each other.
    This photo is great !
