Horse and Hounds Restaurant and Pub
Horse and Hounds is a well-known Ocala restaurant and bar. The business changed hands fairly recently and built a second, modern and rather English-looking building on Ocala's east side.
If you're interested, you can read all about it here.

Hurricane Simulator
Anyone who has lived through a Florida hurricane knows only a fool would want to get into a metal box that simulates a hurricane! Yet, here is just such a box. In our local Paddock Mall. I'm guessing it won't last long.

Melissa and Zenaida - the Olive Garden
Melissa Nieves and Zenaida Jackson are waiting to greet you when you walk into Ocala's Olive Garden. They will smile, lead you to the perfect booth or table, hand you menus, and make you happy you chose to eat at Olive Garden.
They are sweethearts!

Nathan's no more...
Nathan's Boardwalk Hotdogs did not last very long in the food court of the Paddock Mall. It is defunct and the space it occupied is empty. Some food operations just don't work very well in a mall situation.
Some notes: The deleted blogs (Cedar Key, Colorado in Color, Florida Fanfare, and Paree) have been resurrected and are again accessible on the Internet. They are inactive, however. The Villages Daily Photo is also on the Net, but it, too, is inactive.
Our active blogs are: Florida Fotos, Images - The Art of Photography, Ocala Florida Fotos, and Stone Creek.

The road best not taken
Please note that the following blogs have been closed and deleted: Cedar Key Daily Photo, Colorado in Color, Florida Fanfare and Paree. In addition, The Villages Daily Photo has been closed but will remain on the Net for a period of time.
Photos of Cedar Key and The Villages will appear occasionally on Florida Fotos.
Please note also that "Images - L & L Photography" has been changed to "Images - The Art of Photography", and that "Ocala Daily Photo" has been changed to "Ocala Florida Fotos."
We no longer have the time or energy to keep so many blogs in operation. But we thank you for your continuing support over the past two years!

Rave Bongo
Rave Bongo is a device in our local mall which ties kids to ropes and allows them to bounce 20-30 feet into the air safely. Except for the weekends, it is usually not very busy (cf. the operator in the first photo).

"Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again." — Henri Cartier-Bresson
