Bayliner

If you own one of these boats, you need a fairly large yard in which to park it. This one is found in the Fort King subdivision on the east side of Ocala. Oh, yes, you also need a fairly hefty vehicle to pull it to your favorite, lake, river or ocean.

No thank you, I don't want a boat. They are probably made everywhere but Bayliner is made out here---or used to be. MB

Do they have marinas? or are they too expensive to keep your boat there.

I hate people who have Bayliners... it smacks of arrogance and in your face excess... they are so over the top!

I wish I had one though... beautiful boats:)!

Mostly you need money - and devotion. That's a lotta boat, J.

I think here the owners would have to leave it in the port. We have a lot of harbors in the area, Palavas, Carnon, La Grande-Motte, Port-Camargue, etc... but there are so many boats that they have to place them one upon the other!

Bon dimanche, Jacob!

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily would I 'float-on' in this boat.

Looks like half an acre would hold it nicely and 50% ownership of Exxon-Mobil would feed it and the towing vehicle... «Louis» thinks it unlikely one would see one of these boats behind a Prius...

@ Memphis MOJO - We're in the middle of the state - it's about 75 miles to the Atlantic Ocean and 75 miles to the Gulf of Mexico. There are many, many lakes and rivers nearby.

I think a lot of folks go to different places, and when you've got a couple of acres, it's easier to park your boat in your yard...then, when you want to go, you make your choice of destination and take off...

Great boat, but you are right, too many things are needed to take care of it...

Those are sure requirements before considering of getting one. Great photo here, like always. Have a nice weekend J & L.

Oh yes, Jacob, I got your comment right (humor) and I tried to answer the same (it's my English humor that doesn't work :-))))
Have a great week!

Someone I knew defined his boat as "a hole in the water, into which I pour money." But he had a large yard.
Think I'll stick to my kayak!

That'a a nice boat, I wouldn't mine having one despite the additional trouble. I don't think I'll get one though; we're about 150 miles from coast and my hubby has the worst kind of sea sickness there is :(

A friend used to say that the best thing is to be friends of someone who owns a boat, instead of owning one yourself... Clever guy.
God bless you!

Turquoise - very fashionable now, but it always has been a Florida color.

That's the problem with boats - where to put them off season.
