Oh, that looks soooo nice. I'd be spending a lot of time around that baby!

Ooo! And heated too! If I lived there, I'd be in the pool everyday as long as the temperature isn't lower than 26C (79F). :)

I'm just sighing up here in this bitter, bitter cold, imagining floating in that pool. It's heated? Oh my. Sounds heavenly.

I think you'll be ok. I think you'll be ok. Is it still 60 degrees with the wind chill? Brrrrrrr

What a pretty scene. It looks like you are enjoying the great atmosphere at Stone Creek.
Also it looks like the sun is shining--does that mean it is finally warming up? MB

Lowell said...

@ Small City Scenes - Nah...it's not warming up much for another 3-4 days. This photo was taken a couple of weeks ago.

Jacob-regarding how many gardens I have--well--!! Since my house is set up sorta weirdly (is that a word or adverb) I have several areas where I have gardens. One at the side front of the house--one at the otherside of the house and my big undertaking is out by the road. I had 5 Cypress trees taken out because they were old, dead and dying and now I am planting and planning a wildflower garden but also I want to put in maybe 3-5 small white birch. The area is about 50ft long and 4 ft wide. It is going to keep me busy. I just started it last summer. And I have a little pondy type thing going down by the waterfall at the pond. Ferns, Astilbe etc. So it keeps me outside a lot and off the streets. MB

Oh I have a woodland garden with Rhodys and pine and groundcovers. I must go lay down now this whole process has worn me out. MB

Lowell said...

@ Small City - Wow! I'm impressed. Sounds like a lot of work, though. I hope you'll show us some photos of the garden out by the road -- maybe "before and after"?

What's really neat is that bit about keeping you off the streets. Very important!

I always dreamed an outdoor pool like this! Wonderful photo and stunning place!

I see no one is swimming in that magnificent pool.

Lowell said...

@ Jarat - There was one person swimming way down at the other end!

Frank said...

What, no ice skating pix? Now come on, I know you two got out the old skates, sharpened them up and took a quick lap of this rink.

That is a very inviting pool and look at the reflections, they are just great. How's the weather out there now?

God bless you!

Now there's that green water again. Or maybe turquoise but I never know how to spell that so better settle for green.

Is this where you live? You've done well for yourself.

EG CameraGirl said...

But where is everybody? Don't let those sub-zero temperatures keep you out of the pool. ;-)

Lee Spangler said...

That is a nice pool. I'd love too cool off and do some laps in it right about now. It looks like a nice development.

tapirgal said...

You seem to be getting around your new turf. It looks so Sothwest as well as FL. Must be those palm trees!

Wow that is a big pool! How nice that it is heated and even nicer that you don't have to clean it! The palm trees are pretty too.
