Tattooed car

In Ocala, lots of people are getting tattoos. Why, I don't know. But we even have tattooed cars.

I'm just thankful I resisted it in my youth. Imagine where they'd be now?
Oh my!!!

@ Virginia - You are soooo funny. Would you say they would have gone "south"?

I remember when it was considered low-class to have a tatoo. Now it's the "in" thing -- they call it body graphics or something like that. Times have changed I guess.

It says, "Look at me! Look at me!"

I hear some people are making extra money by getting their cars wrapped with advertising and just driving around. Not sure I would want to do that!

Tattoos are very prevalent in my children's generation, 40ish, and younger, her in CA. I opted out early on - when I was in my 20's I shared a hospital room with a 60 something who had a tat. Oh my, did that look horrible. I like tats, but I decided to never look that bad, on purpose! P.S. both my lovely daughters have them.

«Louis» far prefers tatoos on cars than on humans - makes them look (ahem) inhuman... If you don't believe him, take a stroll down Telegraph Avenue in The People's Republic of Berserkeley...

Publicité dans la ville. Il avait fait un essais en France, de proposer de mettre de la publicité sur les voitures des particuliers, mais cela n'a pas marché

And what about your tatoos, Jacob? Where are they?

Lowell said...

@ Brattcat - You're funny! No tattoos for this man! I look strange enough as it is!

Tatooed indeed! Very funny! Virginia's comment made me laugh! :-)

Lowell said...

@ Funny, Daryl. Honk!

Lowell said...

@ la Vache - That's funny, too. But, you can find the same thing strolling down Main Street, USA these days!

That's an interesting point of view, to say the car is tattooed! :)
God bless you!

Eeek -- I hope that the car tattoos are easier to remove than human tattoos!

Hmmm. This is scary. What happens in the U.S. often happens here a couple of years later. YIKES!

There are several cars around our area with these wraps. Some of them are so bright you can spot them a mile away. Another write-off I guess.

Sign Mart, the place where one of my daughters works (she is in the office) does exactly that to cars or whatever. Like Lois said it is called wrapped. Kinda neat, I think. MB

Lol at EG, same here!

I'm thinking of getting a tattoo. The tiniest in the whole world, but I won't compete for the Guinness book of records!

This is an original point of view, I never thought of this, but you are right: these are tattooed cars!

Cute :) I've seen some funny ones in San Francisco; the funniest always seemed to be the plumbing companies who usually employed cartoons to convince you to pay attention to their business; I can't understand why though, I don't think I need convincing to call the plumber; the running water is enough :)

I also do not understand the attraction of tattoos, even on cars.

I would much rathe tattoo my car than myself. I'm not sure what my car might have to say on the subject.

Lowell said...

@ Small City Scenes - Yes, we have a number of vehicles that are "wrapped," too...even buses...but for some reason I think this particular car is painted...I'll have to go back and check more closely. It's been parked in that driveway for several weeks now.

Hope you have a great day!

Lowell said...

@ B Squared - Your car would say, "Honk!"

pretty neat tattoo on that small car...now am thinking what best tattoo would fit my old car. LOl!

I guess I'm a wimp--I really don't want needles.

And the tatooed cars--I guess they pay you, but I wouldn't want one unless I had to.
