Winter colors around here are different, they have white in them! Nice shot.

Hey, that's mighty refreshing. We had nothing but gray and lots of rain today.
How are things going with the move-in/unpacking?

Oh wow that is so beautiful. I love the golden color it makes me feel nice and warm.

Speaking of which---is it warming up down there yet? I sure hope so. It is colder there than here. Of course al we ever have is mass rain.

Are you really still having fall foliage in Florida?

Are you all settling in the new place ok? Transitions are always hard even if it is what we want.

Have a super relaxing week-end. MB

Jake: I finally was able to catch up on your last posts and have good connection now. I hope your enjoying your new home. It is strange to see Fall colors on a Fla. picture. I imagine where I am right now is like living in the middle of the Everglades. best to you, Lee

This makes me smile and smile. It's a beautiful shot and it brings back memories of autumn in vermont. Ah, if only it looked like that here now!

Mighty pretty; reminds me of sights I used to see sometimes in California.

I was wondering if there were trees that turned a bright color in winter there. Now I know. Gorgeous color.

It does look a lot like our early autumn. Or perhaps Brazilian winter (in the southern parts, of course). :)
God bless you!

I heard it was getting very cold down there this winter & that the groves may be lost.

@ Tricia - It is ridiculously cold! I've never seen it this cold for so long. Some winters it never gets below 50! Once in awhile, we've had temps in the low 20s or high teens overnight, but I've never seen that happen for more than two consecutive days. We had a couple weeks of it now! Aaargh! And yes, the citrus growers are very worried; there is only so much they can do to protect their crops.

@ Small City Scenes - Note my comment to Tricia. We're freezing our collective rear ends off here! And it's not going to warm up for several more days.

But we're pretty much settled in and the place is looking good, but we're very tired. What a few weeks this has been! Now, we're hoping all goes well and we can close on our old house by the 22nd.

Best wishes and hope you have a wonderful weekend, too!

Beautiful colors. Not only the tree but look at that blue sky. Wish the sun would visit my city from time to time but probably we won't be so lucky, not before March.
