Love all these shots, Jacob. I especially like how you processed the rider and horse in the third photo.

The posterized shot could be the poster for the 2012 competition.

Don't you just love a horse with a flying tail. And how about the horse who says "no stinkin' bugs in my ears". Pretty funny.

BTW: The house in my header is just a small farm on the way to Stanwood. Pretty view of Mt. Baker.

I forgot question #s 2 and 3 already.
Anything else? MB

Each one is so different, each one is a little gem.

More great shots. I love the poster version. I've been doing that with some of my photos and enjoying it. In fact, I've sold a couple.

Wonderful pictures Jacob! I love that last one with the horse's tail flying in the air.

It's always so interesting to see pictures from events like this one. I don't see the English style of riding around here much and the trappings of the horses and riders are interesting and very different from what we see.

I like the new banner photo too.

Typically I am not so fond of effects on photos. But you use them so well!

Hey, dear Jacob!
So glad to get the opportunity to comment on one of your wonderful blogs! And a post about horses couldn't fit better, as it is your passion.
These are superb images! First one is elegant... Second reminds me of a golf cart? Funny... Third is artistic... Fourth shows that rider and horse seem to have different things in mind... Fifth is a visual show, particularly the jumping horse's tail kind of flying...
When things are too busy and I can't blog I really miss seeing your mind-blowing posts!
God bless you!
Cezar
