Nathan's Boardwalk Hotdogs did not last very long in the food court of the Paddock Mall. It is defunct and the space it occupied is empty. Some food operations just don't work very well in a mall situation.
Some notes: The deleted blogs (Cedar Key, Colorado in Color, Florida Fanfare, and Paree) have been resurrected and are again accessible on the Internet. They are inactive, however. The Villages Daily Photo is also on the Net, but it, too, is inactive.
Our active blogs are: Florida Fotos, Images - The Art of Photography, Ocala Florida Fotos, and Stone Creek.

They need to move to the local ball park. Baseball and hotdogs go together like, um, well like baseball and hotdogs.
That's too bad. We have a few empty spots at our mall too.
I think hotdogs need to be sold out on the streets in fresh air. Just saying.
Nathan's les meilleurs Hot-Dog, j'aime bien, quand je vais à NYC, manger un Hot-Dog au Nathan's de Coney Island
That's kind of sad. Someone's dream may have died. It is amazing how many businesses come and go in the mall settings. High rents is one reason. MB
There's a shopping mall next to the office where countless shops have closed, some of which have reopened with nothing but Chinese stuff: plastic shoes, plastic jewellery... Yuck.
So sad that it's empty.
And I like the distortion in this picture! Cool!
Léia :)
Dog days already????? Where did my summer go?
I would think a hot dog stand would be perfect for the mall.
Maybe you'll get something even better!
I'm surprised it didn't do well. Hot dog stands seem like great mall fare.
Glad to see we can still view some of those blogs! I can't imagine even keeping four running (i have a hard time with one), but you manage to do it very well.
Too bad! One of our malls is about to go under.
Food operations are the ones which last longer here. Or used to... I don't know anything anymore. The IMF (International Monetary Fund) 'crew' has just arrived to Portugal, let's see what our future will be...
Beautiful photo!
