Yes, today's shot was done with a tripod. My night photos are usually handheld if there is action or spur-of-the-moment, but if I go out looking to take night landscape photos, I use a tripod most of the time.

Since these are Priuses, it is a good thing for the environment that there are so many of them that you can find twins next to each other.

Not even just almost. Only the license plates tell them apart. I can't say I'm overly impressed with car designs these days... I can hardly tell any of them apart.
