Mall train

We don't have adequate public transportation in the city of Ocala. But we do have a train that runs around the mall. You can ride it for $3.00. I've seen a few kids in it, and I saw Santa getting a ride, but sometimes it's completely empty. It's not really dangerous, but be careful to look both ways when you exit one of the mall stores!

The largest mall in the Vancouver area has a similar 'train'. I'm not sure if the local mall charges for rides but at $3.00 city buses and light rail are cheaper.

At a price of $3, it is not really a good commuter option for shoppers : ) Looks pretty neat tho.

I'll bet the kids love that!

Lowell, One of my fantasies is to drive around airport concourses in one of those carts that pick up passengers; this could be another fantasy!!

That's quite expensive, isn't it ? It's fun though!

That's a very cute train. I'd pay three bucks.

Wonderful train... rip-off card shop!
There, short and sweet, my rant of the season. I'll crawl back in now.

I have never seen a mall train before! Of course, I don't spend much time in malls...but still. Very interesting!

I guess if you are tired $3 seems a bargain!

For some reason I think I hear tons of whiny kids wanting to know why they can't go for a train ride.

Next time I pass through Ocala, I'll have to stop at the mall because my daughter would love to ride that train.
