This reminds me of the huge screens on some decayed buildings' walls in Oeiras. Those who see them for the first time think restoration will start the next day... but they were placed there a couple of years ago!

soon is such a relative word.
I've seen a few of these "coming soon" signs in the Phoenix area too. Recession woes I expect.

"Soon" seems to have taken on new meaning in this economy, more like "we sure hoped so, once."

I think they mixed up sooner vs. later.
I hate "soon"...I prefer to see a date or at the very least an idea of the date. Great photo, Lowell!
