On Top of the World is a large 55 plus community located in southwest Ocala. OTOW works hard to make the community a colorful and pleasant place as evidenced by this sign at a major intersection nearby.
Ok, bit confused. Is this community for plus sizes? (55 plus?) of perhaps for LARGE 55 lbs overweights? To each his own, I guess. I think I'll pass on this living space. I do believe The Villages is more welcoming to slim sizing too. I hope not too many of these chaps are on the Top of the World... 'she gonna blow...'
It kind of makes me wonder how it got it's name. I wouldn't think of anyplace in Florida being called "top of the world". Colorado maybe, but not Florida.
P.S. You are right about Jerome no longer being a ghost town. The place is always full of people and it isn't unusual to find all the parking places full. Then you have to drive around until someone is leaving and grab their spot.
the flowers are a nice addition to the sign, but the name is far to long for my liking. imagine having to say that every time you give directions or your address.

They have a nice garden for sure. I know that kind of flower bed takes a great deal of work to keep it looking so beautiful.

How lovely!
Great sign, but this is just the sort of place I'll try to avoid for a long time to come.

No matter where, every community should work hard on that.
Looks lovely!
Nice to see a garden so well cared for.
