Longhorn Steakhouse & bar

The Longhorn is one of our favorite places to eat in Ocala. The food and ambience is excellent.

I can't believe there's no one in there! It does look inviting, I would expect crowds. :)

Have definitely eaten there a few times. Do you remember the billboard they had on 17th Ave with the huge horns coming out of it?

From the name, this looks like a little of Texas transplanted to Florida.

Very cozy and charming place and I like that terrace, perfect for summer days, enjoying good meals with friends!

It's certainly attractive inside and out.

We have one here too but we have never tried it. I don't eat beef, so anything with the word steak in it is not high on our list but I'm sure they must have chicken and fish too, right?

The door and window, that I featured yesterday, are in a hotel in Jerome that is over the "Spirit Room". The pretty red lamp is on the outside under the overhang which I find unusual.

Your photos make this place look very inviting. Nothing like a good steak and a fine glass of wine in pleasant surroundings.

Is this one of those places where they have peanut shells all over the place? If it's the one I'm thinking of, they have great steaks.

Very inviting, this place is worth a flight to Ocala ;-)

I agree that is a nice looking bar.

It looks like an interesting place.
And if you all eat there it must be extra good. MB

Oh, dear! This looks inviting! I shouldn't be looking at this when I'm ready for dinner. It would be more painful, but tonight we're having fresh, local Dungeness crab so I have no complaints.

Do they serve vegetarian food?

I don't see food. I can't see ambiance. But I do see an impressive bar and lots of booze! Would that have anything to do with your enjoyment of this establishment?
