I googled lomography but not sure that I totally understand it. I'll have to translate Olivier's comment to see if that sheds more light on it for me. In any event, I like the photo!!

The lomo effect works well on this photo, makes it look cool and damp...though I'm sure it's really HOT and muggy. :))

We have certainly had a lot of rain!

Maybe Meg Ryan might be lurking about. You might share an umbrella.

Oh! Along with Nicholson 'picking up the hitchhiker scene' in Five Easy Pieces ("It's just crap! Everything is crap!"), maybe my two favorite scenes in modern movies. Good Grief! Everytime I see that deli scene, my imagination runs amok. That blonde hair, on a pillow... Oh my, my, my! Now you've gone and done it. You've set my morning all off kilter. Thanks, pal.
ps You won't get away with this, you know.
pss. Do NOT mention Meg Ryan's name ever again on my blog!

I like the effect. Wishing for rain here.

Nice job. This does look cool and refreshing.

Lowell, behave yourself on Birdman's blog. Meg Ryan

It looks rather refreshing. Is the Lomo effect on Photoshop CS5? If so I'll have to play a bit.

Rain? The water from the sky? Really? :-) That's a subdued Lomo effect, I like it!

You and Birdman (and Elenka) are cracking me up today with your comments! I love this shot by the way.

Love the effect.

Lomo effect? Meg Ryan? All these references - on a holiday, no less. What's it all about, Alfie?

Lowell, you know how jealous he gets. Don't mention me on his blog again. Oh, and by the way, who's this Heidi Klum I keep hearing Bird talk about? Meg Ryan

It is interesting how these effects vary from program to program. I like how bright and shiny everything looks.

It looks very refreshing, and probably very welcome?!

We got a big rain this morning. I came in to the office looking like I just stepped out of the shower (but with my clothes on). We needed it though!

The Lomo effect has enhanced the image!

Fantastic, beautiful and refreshing capture!
