The White Elephant is a "thrift/antique" shop in downtown Ocala with goodies piled wall-to-wall for those aficionados of such places. You can even bring your legal papers here to have them notarized.
I am going to have to take a look this week. I am having my classes meet at the Brick City Gallery this week for the "Healing Heart" exhibit and I will have time between classes to 'shop'...and of course....to take a few photos in the 'big city' ;)

I could spend some time here. Trouble is... I always take another person's junk away.
I would never think to bring legal papers to an antique or thrift shop. I would be afraid they would get lost.
It would be fun to look around in there. Were there any elephants?
I try to avoid going in places like this because I often buy something I don't even need!

I used to love going to thrift or collectible stores but SB (since Bob) I really have no desire to do that there thing. MB

Ah! A white elephant notary public. I've been looing for one everywhere!
It sure shows differing tastes. I guess it is worth praisng individual differences but clearly one man's junk is another's treasure
That's an odd combination: notary and thrift shop. It's rare to find anything great in such a shop, at least it is for me.
Amazing how these are getting more and more popular, truly a sign of the times.
Certainly an interesting mix. I've never heard of a thrift shop/notary combination. But if it works, it works!
Like an "all-around" place.. perhaps except there are no elephants :)
