I spotted these horses a few weeks ago on a horse farm in Ocala. It seemed appropriate to post this photo as I read today that fourteen of the horses entered in the Kentucky Derby this year have roots in Ocala, which is, as you know, the "Horse Capital of the World"!

Interesting shot. I love those spotted horses!
brilliant title!
and did you watch the Derby?
I watched the derby while in my local pub having a pint or 2. Not sure if the winner was from Ocala or not!
Are those Appaloosa? So many spots.
Are those Appaloosa? So many spots they look like Dalmatians.
Love these horses! The spotted ones look like Dalmatians. :)
I like the effects in this shot. I haven't kept up with the K Derby. I hope some of your Ocala horsies brought you some hometown fame.
I was thinking the same thing that Linda wrote in her comment, Dalmations!
Very well 'spotted'...
Nice and lovely scene, Lowell!
Happy Sunday!
You pick such 'creative' titles for your posts.
"... one not spotted"
Lovely shot Lowell!!
I was going to say well spotted but it's already been done. I need to be quicker.
Oh YOU spotted those horses. How come there's one horse without spots? You didn't have white paint? :)
This is a beautiful shot. It looks like a painting. We call those Leopard Appaloosas and they are great looking horses.
I am not surprised that so many of the horses in the race are from those gorgeous stables around your place.
Well spotted. MB
Wow, that is a lot of horses who have gone on the be champions. I love the effect you used on this photo.
The question is, "Are those Appaloosa rising?"
Great shot. Always like your horse pictures.
Very artistic and beautiful!

Pretty cool, Lowell!
I didn't know! And, I am interested. We are 'once a week' visitors to our local betting shop. Not big wagers but fun. Best part is getting to know more about racing & beautiful horses. Wonderful image!
