Glen Hill Farm
This photo shows a small portion of the Glen Hill Farm, a 400-acre breeding and racing operation located very close to Ocala's center. It was bought in 1986 by Leonard Lavin, the founder of the Alberto-Culver Co., known for its VO5 brand.
Today, the farm's president and CEO is Craig Lavin Bernick, Leonard's grandson.
Glen Hill is most famous for the horse, One Dreamer, who won the 1994 Breeders Cup Distaff.

Beautiful place.
Looks more like a golf course.
Beautiful pastures. Looks like horse heaven.
superbe endroit, et cela semble immense
WOW!!! What a beautiful farm!!
I have always dreamed of visiting a place like this. Looks wonderful. At first I thought it might be a golf course :).
(I read with a big smile on my face your comments left yesterday about 'names'. You are so kind and I really wasn't sure if you knew mine. Loved all that you had to say and I know everyone else will too. How you manage to comment on so many blogs with such variety is beyond me. A real art. Thanks for taking the time. PS And, I like your photos too!)
A large and beautiful spread. DH and I used to be avid horse racing fans but with all the recent doping scandals and accidents, we've lost our taste for racing.
What a beautiful place. Our horses would love to romp through there. MB
Wow, such a beautiful place. I hadn't heard the name Alberto-Culver in many, many years. Interesting! I love learning where the money comes from.
Any horse would be happy to live in a beautiful place like that! People too!
That is so beautiful! I could sit and stare at that scene for a whole day!
An amazing green fiels, so beautiful place and I like a lot the fence. You got a beautiful postcard from there!

What a beautiful and calm place to spend some free time.
Beautiful place, very scenic.
Always fun to see how the other half lives! Beautiful spread.
Attractive farm. Could be here...except I'm sure it's much warmer there.
Such a pretty sight!
