gently blowing palm fronds are something missing in my pat of the world.
There always seems to be such a nice atmosphere under one of those umbrellas - or those palms!
Umbreallas and palms. . . you really know how to vex a Polar Vortex girl!!
Nice sunny composition.
Ah, very fine, Lowell.
Hmmmm. I wouldn't mind needing an umbrella and a wide brimmed hat about now. Pass the sunscreen, willya?
Raining, raining, raining here, no winter at all. So since I can't have winter, then I'll take a sunny sky view under the parasol. A mojito please.
Looks like there is lots of shade on offer there!
I guess the toughest part of your day is choosing whether to seek shelter from the sun under an umbrella or palm tree.No one every got hit on the head from a coconut falling from an umbrella.
Somewhere on a Flickr link I have photos of what less fortunate people do in India with these palm fronds. They weave them very intricately and lay them across the tops of their huts or porches to make a roof. You see the people walking along carrying these huge weavings. They're light.Love your photo.
Looks like a good place to sip a drink and watch the world go by.
This looks so familiar to me Lowell, it's like looking in my back garden :) although my neighbour has just cut down the palm tree which is a shame!
We have sun too ya know. We just want to stand out in it for as long as we can. It is 33 and the sun is shining. Oh great golden orb in the sky!!!!!NB
If we had sun here, I would not be covering it! :)
A very nice composition, Lowell !
I came here to see some sunshine and you're trying to cover it up!? ;)
