An archaeological artifact ... or?

We found this adorning the window of an unused space in a downtown building.  Could it be an archaeological artifact or is it just an old advertisement?

It's a blues band.

Looks like a release date in 2013 but it's on paper, which automatically gives it some credence as artifact.

Both, right? Looks dessicated enough to be one of the Dead Sea scrolls.

Well, 2013 for a poster to still be up- albeit in that shape- is something of an artifact!

You may consider both the cases...

An Egyptian advertisement?

It does have a "Raiders of the Last Ark" look to it.

"Raiders of the Lost Ark"....one day they'll invent a spell check system that actually knows what you are thinking and then I won't make so many mistakes. Of course, now that I think about it, that would lead to all kinds of different problems wouldn't it?

Maybe it's both! Looks like it could be an ancient Egyptian advertisement to me. :)

I really like this photo. Why? Dunno!
