It struck me right away. Four items all aligned: the fire hydrant, the electrical box, the street lamp and the tree. I mean, really, how often do you see something like that?
Oh, yes, I'm with Ciel, I wouldn't have noticed either if you hadn't pointed it out!! See how important you are!!! Love it! Hope you're having a gem of a weekend, Lowell!!
Well, I can't say how often I see something like this since I rarely look for them. But in a subdivision it doesn't seem too strange since trenches have to be dug to run the electrical wiring and water and the lamp seems to be adjacent to the electrical box. What's odd to me is that the street lamp is in the middle of a lawn, not at the street!
This looks like a tough neighborhood, especially for pine trees. Are you kidding about the four objects? They were put together by photoshop or a long lens.
Not often at all! I love that sort of scraggly tree. It has a great shape. Century plants are called that because it was thought that they only bloom every 100 years. However, that has been proved wrong. But, they do only bloom once. After they bloom, the plant dies but it has always spawned new plants to take it's place so the new plants will grow for several years before it blooms.
Didn't really think Photoshop was used, but I do enjoy giving you a hard time, if possible. Yesterday must have been a great day for a bike ride as I pumped up my tires and put a few miles on my bike also. Went to a kite fly, but unfortunately the wind did not cooperated until about 45 minutes after the event was suppose to end. Did get a couple of kites up.

Must be a dull Saturday in retirement-land. Huh?

:-) It's the kind of thing I probably wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out. Yup, that's me...

Curious that the street lamp is so far away from the street!
It is rather bizarre to have all 4 so close together!

Put all the clutter in one place next to a tree. I think whoever placed everything there was hoping you'd only see the tree. ;)

So rare that this exact alignment won't be seen again for another ten years :)
I might see things like this every day, but you are the one who notices them! :)
Strangely assorted, but a quartet it is! Great eye, Lowell!

Like a military parade... 'Atten-shun!'
All I have eyes for is that handsome, strange tree! What is it?
Very well observed, Lowell !
The blue sky is so dazzling me that I would have 'possibly' missed the quartet display :).
Brilliant catch!!
