And what a beautiful weather vane it is!! I do love those blue, blue skies!! Terrific capture for the day, Lowell, as always!! Hope you have a great new week!!
Very nice. I like weather vanes although I can usually tell which way the wind is blowing. haha We have one with a horse (of course) on it out on the lean-to in one of the pastures. A boyfriend of one of the daughter's gave it to us. He is long gone but the vane lives on. MB
Just responding to your question. The plants at Home Depot and Lowe's are sprayed with a pesticide that kills bees. Best to buy at a Farmer's Market or local nursery.

I like the way you captured this one with the tree.
The old poem goes, "...Wind from the west, that's when fishing is the best...."
Such a zesty weathervane!
Weather vanes are wonderful folk art objects.
Beautifully framed!!
...Evidence that you don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows...
Wonderful and neat shot.
What a pretty picture this makes with those limbs hanging over the top. I like it.
Unusual for me, but very pretty!
Great shot, I bet that keeps pigeons away!
I love the clear blue sky!
I love this shot Lowell, especially since it involves a bird!
A very nice vane too!

Beautiful weather vane, the kind I remember from a zillion years ago. Lovely picture (miss those blue skies)!
It is nice and I like how you framed it...

Hey, what a great idea! Weather vane would be a good theme day topic! Wonder if they work!
I like this composition so much Lowell, the colours work so well and the weather vane is brilliant, wouldn't mind that atop my roof at all!
Beautifully framed picture, Lowell !!
I wonder what a bird this is...
