Car Wash Advertisement

It you turn right where this young man is standing, you will find the Cactus Car Wash. We've been there several times and they do a good job, but I've yet to pay $6.95. For some reason I never get out of there without spending close to $20.00!

This guy, by the way, was listening to music on his headphones.  We could tell because he was jumping up and down, sort of dancing, and the sign was flying every which way!

I suppose he has to do something to make the time pass faster... I'd imagine that can be a pretty boring job at times.

I love the fact he was dancing to his music! I suppose it's the best way to pass the time while holding the sign. I love your photos! Thank you for the nice comment on my blog. - Tasha

Huh...Cactus car wash..I didn't know there were any cactus in Florida.
Nice that the guy was having fun on the job. That could be a pretty boring day without the music.

Does not look like a fun job.

We call 'em sign spinners around here. Some of them keep themselves awake and alive by listening to music, dancing, and, well, spinning their signs.

Will they take Canadian money at par? It's taking a Sh*t kicking right now.

My feet would hurt if I had to stand still with that sign all day. Smart kid to move about to music!

I think the $6.95 is for turning on the water and aiming it at your car. I occasionally keep an eye open for car washes, but now it's winter, and the car would be clean one day and dirty the next.

Advertised prices are never the real ones, there are always hidden extras...

That sign tossing is very popular here in Phoenix. I could use a car wash soon but, I can't get out for less than $20.00 either.

Heck, if he was of the opposite gender in in a bikini and soapy, She'd have me pulling over. It's Florida, right?

I usually go for the executive level wash at he place near me - $12 and the car looks fabulous!
That is a window on the house. It could use a cleaning.

A strange job...
