Swimming with gators can be dangerous to your health

These friendly critters were found at Homosassa Springs State Park in one of the ponds. I can't imagine why those signs are needed, but there are some pretty dumb people in the world.

Haven't you heard of the new cruise ship excursion, "swimming with the gators?" Like swimming with dolphins but for extra competitive Type As.

Guess I would not want to float along with these big fellas.

The sign is kind of like our train signs.

Safe to say that I would not attempt to even walk close to that area let alone swim. :)

I'm definitely not that dumb!

Definitely not a place to take a dip!

The signs are for the Gators... and they are obeying.

I think I do not need that sign !
Although I like your photos with these cute critters :-)

I certainly wouldn't need a sign to warn me. Those are some scary looking critters!

Got a great laugh out of your No Swimming signs. You are right about some people lacking any sense.

They are impressive beasties.

Just make sure they've had a meal in the last day or two.

Even without the signs I wouldn't go in there, Lowell!

By the way, OSEG stands for Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group, the small group of developers that stole the park with the city's blessing and will be living off the profits for the remainder of their natural lives.

Even without the sign, I won’t swim in that filthy-looking water. I wonder whether “No swimming” is for people or for gators? Are these gators real, or fake to make people feel convinced who don’t believe only sign?

No swimming??? I don't get it... ;-) Great beasts!
If you only knew how close I was to one crocodile in Kenya without knowing it... I'm sure it was my fastest and highest jump ever the second he moved! LOL!

Oh why not? I'm sure they LOVE tourists!
