Three New Horse Fever Horses

Ocala, being the "horse capital of the world," has the honor of hosting a "Horse Fever" program, which has resulted in over 100 beautiful horses being constructed and placed at various sites around the community.  The program has lost some of its initial pizazz but new horses show up every so often.

One of the newest is this beauty that sits in front of the Latinos Y Mas restaurant on Highway 441.  We've patronized Latinos Y Mas on a number of occasions and found both the service and the food to be excellent.

The second of the three is located in the downtown square, and the third horse can be found near the Marion Theater, also downtown.

These are fun. West Hartford had a promotion like this, but with cows.

It seems like this concept was a fad for awhile. Horses, lizards, cows…seen 'em all. The painting on the 2nd one is pretty cool.

Like 'em! The first and last ones seem to be reflecting their surroundings rather nicely.

The horses are fantastic, so glossy and sleek looking... real thoroughbreds!

This sort of fever is so good for community spirit.

I'm way behind in my emails. Sorry about that but life has been a tad hectic lately. RE you question about Ukrainian Catholic and Ukrainian Orthodox, yes the Catholic has Pope Francis at its head.

The horses are beautiful and the restaurant sounds like a place I would like. The horses remind me of the "Cow" event that was going on in Chicago when I was working there in the late 90's. I loved finding all the colorful cows scattered around town. Somewhere in a box stored some place, I have photos of all the one's I found.

Ya, Portland did 'lighthouse' a few years back. I like that first one too. No horses here; plenty of horses' asses however. Does that count?

Attractive!!

I like the second one with the painting made like a blanket! We have done moose here and most of them had their antlers stolen shortly after appearing on the streets.

Oh I like them all.

I love these horses, reminds me of our Buddy Bears here in Berlin. Latinos y mas is rather an odd name for a restaurant, but it sounds good!

So cool! In Lisbon we had cows.
