Kate is correct. It is a Polaris Slingshot, and is classed as a motorcycle because it has only three wheels. They are quite sporty with 176 horsepower pushing only 1700 pounds making one horsepower for only 9.6 pounds. This fun vehicle makes for a fun photo.
Lowell, the last study I came across about power lines and cancer about 15 years ago showed the highest rates were not for those living closest to them, but for those living a half mile away. Even then, the rates were hardly above probability. These are the power lines going east away from the Oahe Dam in South Dakota to power eastern SD and part of Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska.

Whatever the inspiration, I like the customized work!
Looks like everyone is very interested in the varoom machine.
Of course that little girl is me---don't I look so sweet and earnest.

Yep, looks like a Batmobile to me!!! The kids are enjoying it!!
It certainly attracts plenty of attention. Are you sure it's not a newfangled kind of golf cart??
It definitely reminds me of the Batmobile, Lowell!. Love this! :)
Did you hear it vroooom??
What a strange vehicle... Any caped guy in the neighborhood?
I wonder where the 'Masked Marvel' has popped too?!
I encountered one of these recently and put it on my blog (I think, I'll have to check). It's really a kind of motorcycle.
I posted it on May 8th, and it's manufactured by Polaris.
Very weird! :-)
Looks like a spider. Definitely a head turner!

Very odd thing indeed, Lowell!
Much too colourful to be a Batmobile - pretty sure they only come in black. But cool nonetheless
It's certainly getting a lot of attention!
One of those passed me on the interstate once. It was just a blur. That one is sure drawing a crowd.
It has certainly drawn a crowd of admirers.
Bam! Crash! Bang! Pow! Smash! You get the picture, Robin?
